Our story

Raisins from the Vijayapura grape belt

Vijayapura (Bijapur) district in north Karnataka is one of India’s main grape-growing areas, and together with Sangli and Tasgaon across the border in Maharashtra it forms the belt where most of India’s raisins are dried. Our factory sits right there, at Tidagundi on the Solapur Road (NH13), close to the growers.

From our head office in Varanasi and our raisin factory in Vijayapura, VISAVA GROUP serves wholesalers, retailers, sweet makers, bakeries and institutional buyers across India, and works with importers and distributors abroad. Careful sorting, cleaning and honest packing are at the heart of how we work.
